These are something that I am reading (ignore my referencing, no time for MLT,Turabian)…
1. Heiko Oberman, ‘Headwaters of the Reformation’, see also Bernhard Lohse ’Conscience and Authority in Luther’ in Luther and the Dawn of the Modern Era (Leiden: E. J. Brill, 1974), pp. 40-88, 158-83. Wow cost a hundred sth. online? Got it from the library shelf like dust it off. These were from International Congress for Luther Research, 4th, St. Louis, 1971. YES v. ACADEMIC LOTS OF LATIN but as practical and intellectual as ever like talking to u today…don’t know what to say, just reading and keep my mouth shut.
2. James Tracy, Marguerite Ragnow. Religion and the Early Modern State (Cambridge: CUP, 2004) the whole book.
3. William Bouwsma versus Steven Ozment
